Good Thoughts VS. Evil Thoughts

A good thought has three important applications: 1. It benefits the thinker by improving his mental body. 2. It benefits the person about whom it is entertained. 3. It benefits all mankind by improving the general mental atmosphere. On the contrary, an evil thought has three important disadvantages: 1. It harms the thinker by doing injury to his mental body. 2. It harms the person who is it’s obejct. 3. It harms all mankind by vitiating the whole mental atmosphere. Every evil thought is as a sword drawn on the person to whom it is directed. If you entertain thoughts of hatred, you are really a murderer of that man against whom you foster thoughts of hatred. A mind tenanted by evil thoughts acts as a magnet to attract like thoughts from others and thus intensifies the original evil. Evil thoughts thrown into the mental atmosphere poison receptive mind. To dwell on an evil thought gradually deprives it of its repulsiveness and impels the thinker to perform an action which embo...

Something Good is Just About to Happen

My mom always said that something good is just about to happen. I didn't realise this early on, but I've lived my life with the thought that no matter how dark or how difficult things become, there's this consistent hope that it's just about to turn. My mom gave me the gift of that. It keeps me positive and keep me always looking towards things in an optimistic manner. I've been very fortunate to live my life with that thought. Because of the duality on earth, there are always going to be both positive and negative experiences. But if you consistently look for the good and maintain a positive attitude despite outside circumstances, you will triumph. And there are no better words to remember to help you maintain a positive attitude than mom's words :" Something good is about to happen!" If you always know that something good is about to happen, your optimism will never waiver for long. People who are happy and successful think more about the good t...

Stay Kind

Stay kind. The world is already in so much negativism.  Be the person they didn’t see coming.  Overflowing with kindness, in a way that they can never empty, no matter how hard they try.  Stay kind because in this world, it is so easy to stay cruel and selfish, but to stay kind takes strength and courage.  Stay kind.  When times are easy.  When times are tough.  Forge your kindness into a shape, which cannot be changed. Fill it like your canvas.  Use it as your munition.  Stay kind.  And let this kindness shine light on the good and on the bad.  Stay kind to those who are kind to you.  But more importantly, stay kind to the unkind because you might be the person who gives them a second thought on why they choose to be unkind.  Stay kind and spread out your kindness like a garden.  Let the beauty of your kindness blossom.    Stay kind with all it takes.  Stay kind, it will make your wo...

It's Okay

It's okay if you fail an exam. It's okay if you are getting rejected in your interviews. It's okay if you feel nervous on your first day of work. It's okay if someone doesn't care about your love towards them. It's okay if you have not achieved what you want. It's okay if you're feeling bad about what you have lost. It's okay if you're finding hard to make friends. It's okay if your old friends are enjoying their life and you are stuck at home. It's okay if you haven't got the bike you want. It's okay if you can't buy that dress. It's okay if you haven't still moved on. It's OKAY. Your life hasn't got over yet. You've got days and weeks and years to make things better and do things that you love. You may not achieve it as soon as possible. Good things take time. Make sure you work hard for it. Now tell yourself its okay that you're taking time because good things are worth the wait.

Your Reaction Chooses It

Life is presenting every person and circumstance to you so you can choose what you love and what you don't love. When you react to anything, you are reacting with your feelings, and as you do, you are choosing it! Your reaction, whether good or bad, sticks it to you, and in effect, you are saying you want more of it! And so it's important to watch how you react in your relationships, because whether you react with good or bad feelings, they're the feelings you're giving, and you will receive more of the same circumstances to make you feel that way.
